2019 Marrowbone Road Fiano
Along Marrowbone Road you will find some of Australia's oldest vineyards, it is also where the Mount Pleasant winery calls home. Throughout the years, the vineyards have been thoughtfully adjusted to suit the times. With this in mind, Fiano was planted in 2014.
This variety handles the often harsh conditions of the Hunter Valley with ease resulting in a textural wine with freshness and powerful fruit.

The Real Review
Light straw colour, with a bouquet of peach fuzz, ripe pear, straw in a quite distinctive framework. The palate is crisp and dry, linear and lovely palate flavour that is fruity and savoury at the same time. It is quite dry but seems to have a core of sweetness which is evidently coming only from good, ripe fruit. Clean, dry, refreshing finish. A very smart fiano.
