About this Wine
Hunter Valley, NSW
Ruby red with purple hues.
Dark cherries, plums and spice coupled with exotic notes from the Touriga.
Elegant, medium bodied with a lovely tannin structure. Supple and bright red fruits make this such an easy drinking style of wine.
Hand picked and crushed to tank for a short cold soak. Innoculated for a warm ferment of around 10 days with pumping over three times daily. Pressed at dryness to tank for malolactic fermentation before being racked into old puncheons. Blending was completed after 6 months in barrel.
Ideal for tapas or pizza night with friends as this versatile wine suits a range of flavour profiles.

"Low in alcohol, but it tastes remarkably ripe and juicy. Red and black berried flavours with saltbush, earth, woodsy spice and herbs. It carries a good lick of tannin but fruit never lets go of the steering wheel."
