About this Wine
Hunter Valley, NSW
Hints of citrus, pear, and white peach are harmoniously integrated with spice, milk bottle and guava.
An intense, textural palate with excellent length and balance, with ripe citrus fruit prevalent
Hand picked off young vines, crushed to tank before being racked to old puncheons for natural fermentation. After 10 days, the barrels were topped and stirred for 8 months. Blended and bottled in December.
Will drink well now and for the short term.

The Real Review
Light straw colour, with a bouquet of peach fuzz, ripe pear, straw in a quite distinctive framework. The palate is crisp and dry, linear and lovely palate flavour that is fruity and savoury at the same time. It is quite dry but seems to have a core of sweetness which is evidently coming only from good, ripe fruit. Clean, dry, refreshing finish. A very smart fiano.
