About this Wine
Hunter Valley, NSW
Deep purple with crimson hues
Stunning florals on the nose, as is characteristic of the Rosehill vineyard. Intense red fruits and subtle spice follow.
Classically medium-bodied, with red fruit driven density and lovely acidity. A long, elegant finish with fine grain old-vine tannins.
Perfect with roast turkey and cranberry sauce.

The Real Review
"Reserved, subtle nose. The bouquet is backward and savoury and still a little undeveloped, with a little meatiness. The palate is concentrated and very dense, with masses of tannin and some chewiness. Some tarry notes throughout. A big, rugged wine, with old-vine fleshy density and great concentration, but it doesn't lack elegance. Very long-lasting palate flavour. This is most impressive, and I could forsee it still going strong in 40 years' time."

"Floral, aniseed, spicy, red and blue fruits, medium-bodied, so fine and evenly weighted, great tannin, incredible length. Precision, tension, charm, verity and purpose. Once in a lifetime."
