Hunter Valley, NSW
Brilliant violet with ruby hues.
Intense florals, plum and lush red and blue fruits.
Ripe red fruits at the fore, coupled with subtle spice and pepper. Distinct Mothervine Pinot Noir adds freshness and depth to the mid palate, ending with a gentle, juicy finish. Complex, yet approachable.

The Wine Front
"Plum, red fruit, earth and crispness of flavour, juicy and fat fruit, clean acidity, grainy and firm tannin, savoury and perfumed at once on a satisfying finish. It's a bold one, but lays the charm on thick."

The Real Review
"Fragrant red fruit, graphite and lightly floral aromas, clean and bright. The wine is tight and firm, bright and lively, with slightly edgy tannins and a trace of bitterness. There is intense flavour and penetrating drive and length, along with a touch of leanness. It's best cellared a little longer."

2021 Halliday Wine Companion
"The tension between tannin, acidity, savoury nuances and fruit is high. It feels as though all the components here are sitting straight and alert. Earth, rust, iodine, black cherry and plum notes all make contributions, as does malty oak. It's not dense, but it feels robust; it's a wine of presence. It's easy to see this wine maturing fantastically."
