The Hunter’s winemakers and chefs alike invite you to come and enjoy the countless events being offered during the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month festivities. This is a truly amazing opportunity to experience the food and wine culture that the Hunter Valley is renowned for.

The purpose of the Food and Wine Month is to showcase the Hunter’s reputation as a world class culinary destination, both in terms of the amazing produce of the region and the impeccable hospitality extended to visitors.

There are literally dozens of events and activities on offer during the month of June and there is sure to be something to appeal to all tastes.

June Food and Wine Experiences at Mount Pleasant

To celebrate the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month, Elizabeth’s Restaurant will be offering a fantastic Chef’s Plate with matched wine for lunch:

Slow roasted beef with red wine jus, blistered cherry tomatoes, green beans and sweet potato mash with a glass of the iconic 2007 Rosehill Shiraz.

A visit to the Mount Pleasant Cellar Door during June will also give you the opportunity to enjoy a vertical tasting of the iconic Lovedale Semillon.

This is a rare opportunity to compare three magnificent vintages of this truly stellar wine 2003, 2005 and 2007.
